Supplying Monsanto's Needs for Goods and Services

Monsanto conducts business with suppliers of many different products and services. We seek to obtain goods and services for the company at the best possible quality and buying conditions. Our goal is to establish and maintain positive, value-added relationships with our suppliers.

Businesses interested in working with Monsanto are encouraged to complete a Profile to tell us about your company and the goods and services you have to offer. We will save this information for 12 months and, if an opportunity arises, we will contact you for any further information and follow-up conversations. Consistent with our privacy policy, information that you provide will be used for this purpose only and will not be shared with any third parties.

Major Areas Of Spending

The types of products and services that Monsanto purchases from outside vendors include:

  • Non-Manufacturing: Safety Supplies, R&D supplies, printing, promotional/advertising, temporary labor, construction, office supplies, paper, computer equipment, facility housekeeping, and janitorial supplies
  • Manufacturing: Stretch film, pallets, mill supply, distributor chemicals, electrical supplies, safety gear, bearings

Becoming A Monsanto Vendor

Monsanto requires that all its vendors comply with the company's supplier guidelines:

  • Meet all legal requirements with regard to appropriate product safety and health regulations.
  • Adopt a "Right the First Time" policy to ensure consistent, quality products and services.
  • Comply with Monsanto's Contractor/Guest Environmental, Safety, and Health procedures before and while performing services on Monsanto property.

Complete a Supplier Information Profile
