Nine wheat-related associations from Australia, Canada and the United States released a statement calling for investment in biotech wheat.
July 2009
Monsanto acquired WestBred, LLC, which specializes in wheat breeding. The transaction will give WestBred access to Monsanto’s technology platforms to provide wheat farmers benefits through both breeding and biotechnology.
