The product you have selected is a breeding stack. 

Breeding stacks are created from two (or more) varieties that have had new genes introduced using modern biotechnology.  Once new genes have been introduced, they behave like any other plant gene, and traditional plant breeding is used to bring together the desirable traits from two (or more) varieties.

The safety assessment for breeding stacks relies on the safety assessment of the individual underlying varieties.  When a stack is created, field and laboratory testing are done to verify that the crop performs as expected and that the introduced genes continue to function as they did in the underlying varieties, demonstrating that it is appropriate to rely on the previously performed safety assessments.
