Not all corn for ethanol production is the same. Monsanto has developed hybrids with industry-leading agronomics and traits that have higher levels of fermentable starch, which can increase ethanol production by 2% to 4%.

The Processor Preferred® Program provides participating plants with technical support and tools to measure the quality of their incoming grain. This program helps promote the production of more fermentable corn in the draw area of the plant.

Track Predicted Ethanol Yield, Load By Load
A software tool is now available that helps participating Processor Preferred processors track the predicted ethanol yield of their incoming grain. This tool allows plants to review data by load and by supplier. The software lets you review run charts for all the months and years that data is available and can begin tracking your data as soon as you begin participation in the Processor Preferred Program. It gives Processor Preferred processors a valuable management tool to enhance their ethanol production.
