YieldGard Rootworm delivers effective and consistent in-plant protection against western, northern and Mexican corn rootworms, for a zone of protection around the roots that starts as soon as you plant. Start Clean, Stay Clean™

Maximize your weed control to minimize the risk of weed resistance.

You can use Roundup Ready® technology year after year while minimizing the risks of developing weed resistance. It's just a matter of following a few easy guidelines, such as starting clean using a residual herbicide and staying clean with Roundup agricultural herbicides.

  1. Use Roundup Ready technology as your foundation.

  2. Start clean and control weeds early.

  3. Add other herbicides and cultural practices where appropriate as part of the Roundup Ready System.

  4. Use the right rate of Roundup agricultural herbicide at the right time.

  5. Control weeds throughout the season and reduce the weed seed bank.

Facts about weed resistance and Roundup agricultural herbicides.

  1. Roundup agricultural herbicides have been on the market for 30 years and have been the most widely used herbicide in corn, soybeans and cotton for over eight years.

  2. Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, has a unique mode of action and makes the chances of weed resistance to Roundup agricultural herbicide less likely than other chemistries.

  3. After nine years of commercial use in the United States, 12 weeds were resistant to the active ingredient in Pursuit®, while only two weeds have been confirmed resistant to glyphosate in Roundup Ready cropping areas.

  4. If signs of resistance should occur, options are available to manage effectively and economically. Tank mixes have provided effective and economical control of resistant weeds.

Dead weeds will not produce seed and become resistant.
