Scott Learning Center

History
The Scott Learning Center opened its doors on June 26, 2008. Monsanto and its Delta and Pine Land business worked to create this research center to provide producers, dealers, and others with a facility to give people a better understanding of its business and products. The Scott Learning Center, nestled in Scott, Mississippi, creates a unique opportunity for growers to view Monsanto’s product pipeline first-hand.

Scott Learning Center at a Glance
The Scott Learning Center provides growers and producers the ability to tour the facility and learn about the emerging technologies being developed there. Southern farmers are planting more diverse crop mixes which led Delta and Pine Land to develop a broader range of products – creating the best technology and genetics in cotton, corn and soybeans. The learning center allows farmers to learn about upcoming products and best management practices three-to-five years before they’re commercially launched. By showing producers how to maximize the value of developing various hybrids, varieties and traits, farmers will be better prepared for future technologies. Monsanto and its Delta and Pine Land business are committed to its growers and providing products that create success. The Scott Learning Center is one way D&PL is continuing this momentum and helping improve success on the farm today and in the future.
