The Water Utilization Learning Center in Gothenburg, Nebraska, is the first of its kind in agriculture. This $6 million facility is one of three learning centers we have in the United States. Their purpose is to share Monsanto’s industry-leading knowledge and research with our customers.
The Gothenburg facility is focused on water utilization: how do we maintain or increase crop productivity by maximizing the crop’s water use, and what are the tools farmers need to do this?
Monsanto believes water management is an important step toward sustainable agriculture and reducing agriculture’s impact on the environment. The Gothenburg Water Utilization Learning Center allows farmers and other stakeholders the opportunity to learn about water-use efficiency technologies in agriculture.
