Giving is a natural part of what we do at Monsanto. As a company, we are committed to making lives better.
Whether it is helping to provide better seed to improve the livelihood of our customers, working hard to provide more food for a growing population or using our financial resources to support communities around the globe – it’s all the Monsanto way.
There are two main ways we contribute to this goal: investing in the future of agriculture and through philanthropy.
Investing in the Future
Monsanto is committed to supporting the sustainability and growth of the agricultural industry. This support ranges from more than $2 million (£1.25 million) spent daily on research and development to agricultural and science-based scholarships and partnerships with youth organisations and educational institutions to help develop leadership in science and agriculture.
Philanthropy and the Monsanto Fund
The Monsanto Fund has a mission to do good and transform lives. As the philanthropic arm of the Monsanto Company, the Fund supports organisations and programmes as varied as the places around the globe where Monsanto conducts business. The Fund’s goal is to improve the lives of people by bridging the gap between their needs and their resources.
Visit the Monsanto Fund website for more information about the Fund and procedures to make a request for a grant.
