The third annual Farm Progress Show Inventors Challenge brought 10 unique, and useful, products to Boone for visitors to check out and vote on. The program, sponsored by Roundup Ready 2 Yield, invites inventors from around the country to enter their ideas. A team of judges included two agricultural engineers - Mark Hanna from Iowa State University and Robert Davis, engineering products manager from Agco representing the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers - and Farm Progress editors Willie Vogt and Frank Holdmeyer.
The Winner of the 2008 Inventors Challenge is the EZ Dual Tire Changer, Second Place went to the Grapple, and the Third Place Winner was the Beeliner - see more details about each invention on the Farm Progress Show Web site.
