Corn Cam
This film shows the growth of Monsanto's drought-tolerant corn from the day
the webcam started filming on June 21 until the end of July. This film will
eventually show how the corn continues to grow and thrive even during the
harshest of environmental conditions. Here we grow the corn under "stress
mitigation tents" which allow all the heat of the sun but none of the rain
to get through to the plants.
Bean Cam
This film shows the comparison rows for dicamba-tolerant soybeans with a trait
that makes the plants on the left hand side of the film resistant to dicamba
herbicide. You will see the die down of the non-dicamba-resistant plants
after the herbicide is sprayed. Within 24 hours, the non-dicamba-resistant
plants began to show signs of serious stress, while the dicamba-tolerant
plants continued to grow and remain healthy even under the stress of a heavier-than-normal
spray.
