D&PL has a number of Bollgard II / Roundup Ready® Flex products in the pipeline with performance potential greater or equal to the standards including DP 555 BGRR, DP 444 BGRR and DP 445 BGRR.

D&PL expects to introduce multiple Bollgard II / Roundup Ready® Flex varieties in each maturity range annually. In 2009, up to seven varieties could be launched that are similar to or better than the market leaders in yield potential. And in 2010, an additional 15 varieties with market-leading yield potential could be available. D&PL researchers are working with hundreds of varieties for 2011.

The data clearly shows performance potential of some of the Bollgard II / Roundup Ready® Flex varieties offer such yield and quality promise.
The on-farm variety mix is something growers may want to consider as more than one variety may fit on farms currently planting the majority of their acres to a single product. To build familiarity with these products, we are putting resources behind increased testing and production of these varieties. We hope growers will take the opportunity to come out and see the trials.
